Trevor Griffiths studied medicine at Jesus College, Oxford and Westminster Hospital Medical School in London. Shelving his interest in cancer and immunology research, he decided to enter clinical medicine, where, as a Generalist, he developed his interest in family dynamics and mental health promotion. His wife, Marian, and daughters Abigail and Tamsin, tolerate amazingly well his distraction into writing and teaching. They shared their home for twenty years with people recovering from life crises, out of the social mix of which emerged the Emotional Logic approach to personal development.
Developed from the original work of Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, ‘On Death and Dying’ 1969, and introducing new insights consistent with the new science of chaos and non-linear living systems. With thanks to Jack Cohen and Ian Stewart, ‘The Collapse of Chaos: Discovering simplicity in a complex world’, Penguin 1995. The personal details and situations of characters in the stories that form part of this presentation have all been altered to protect identity.
